The Kinect represents a commercial breakthrough in user interface technology. It even goes a step ahead of the famous Minority Report gesture interface, which, for its glamor, still requires gloves to use. Commanding armies and manipulating maps with hand gestures was one of my expectations and wishes for gaming UI. It's good to see the wish is a reality.
